Universal Hydraulik GmbH was founded in 1983 as a family business and, with the third generation now on board, has long since set the right course for the future.
We currently have around 120 employees across three countries and have been a partner to many customers, suppliers and employees for decades, something of which we are very proud.
Unfortunately, we are currently having to adapt further to market conditions.

As you know, over the last 12 months we have all had to contend with significant price increases for materials – in particular, copper and aluminium, which are key raw materials for us, have become steadily more expensive. Since our last MTZ adjustment (September 2023), copper has risen by 50% and aluminium by 60%, starting from an already high level.

Due to these price developments, which we were unable to anticipate, we unfortunately have to increase our material surcharge from 5% to 7.5% with effect from 1 May 2026.
We ask for your understanding and thank you for the trust you have placed in us to date.
We assure you that Universal Hydraulik will continue to stand by your company as a long-term and responsible partner.

We will reduce our MTZ again should raw material prices fall, although these have remained at a high level in recent years.
